Renovation of 342 apartments, which after the remodeling will be reduced to 245 apartments and 35 new terraced houses above the existing basement.
Demolition and environmental remediation (PCB, asbestos, heavy metals, radon) of 8 blocks down to the foundation, as well as partial demolition and environmental remediation of the remaining building structures.
The project includes renovated apartments, accessible apartments with elevator access, converted apartments into terraced houses, new technical installations in all apartments, and new outdoor areas.
The roofs of all buildings will be replaced, and in front of buildings with accessible entrances, the surfaces will be modified to provide level access to the entrances. For the converted apartments, the terrain at the front and back will be raised, creating level access with ramps, stairs, and retaining walls in the terrain.
Renovations are divided into the following categories: renovation, accessibility, conversion and Basements
Renovation:
144 apartments (24 staircases) will be renovated with new windows, balanced ventilation, new attached balconies, new kitchens, and new bathrooms. Existing balconies will be incorporated into the living area, and new shafts for ventilation will be installed.
Accessibility:
66 apartments (11 staircases) will be designed as accessible apartments according to the guidelines of the National Building Foundation and Building Regulations Class C. Elevators will be installed, and the apartments will be remodeled with a new layout, as well as new windows, balanced ventilation, new attached balconies, new kitchens, new bathrooms, and new installations. Existing balconies will be incorporated into the living area, and new shafts for ventilation will be installed.
Conversion:
The conversion of the section takes place at Brombærvej 13-21 and 31-45, as well as Skovvænget 52-58. A total of 132 apartments will be converted into 35 terraced houses, which will be built on top of the existing basement slab.
The outdoor areas will be renovated with new asphalt paths, trees, plants, playground equipment, activity areas, etc., and private gardens will be created for the terraced houses.
Basements:
In the basements, necessary renovations will be carried out, including the installation of elevators. Additionally, all windows in the basements of the converted terraced houses will be closed. Mechanical ventilation will be installed in all basements, and partial replacement of installations will be carried out.
